This is my new blog.
Here you will find what I am up to! I will include information on exhibitions, interesting articles, general textile, bobbin lace news and information on courses, workshops, talks as well as whatever I am working on!
During lockdown I have sorted my garden, cupboards, etc and spent a very long time writing a completely new website
please visit and let me know what you think of it.
I have also been working on my current
bobbin lace projects.. I have at least
three lace pillows on the go!!

A 'pot boiler' is a piece of lace that you work on at any time. It is a lace that you know well and it is generally a continuous lace.
This is a continuous piece of lace that I
cut off and use on personal family
presents when needed.
The design is from 'Bucks Point
Prickings' drafted by Kate Riley from samples in the Luton Museum Lace Dealer's pattern book. published by the Lace Guild 1999.

second Bobbin Lace Project that I am working on.
Each year I make a Christmas
decoration for all close members of my
family. I have done this since 2000. I
have used the lockdown to get ahead!!
